2016 Covenant Cuvee
The 2016 vintage began with a warm March bringing early bud-break, a trend which continued into summer growth with no appreciable rain during the growing season. The result was highly phenolic fruit rife with ripe flavors of strawberry, raspberry and blackberry. For this club exclusive wine we chose to co-ferment juice from the 667, Pommard and Wadensville clones in completely neutral barrels to preserve a fresh and fruit-forward profile. Tannins are silky, acids are balanced and this wine is ready to Savor!
